Williams receives certificate of election
At the last Scottsboro City Council work session, held on Monday, July 18, 2022, Scottsboro City Schools boardmember Jason Allen Williams was presented with a certificate of election since he will be running for re-election unopposed in the upcoming Scottsboro municipal election. The election will take place on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
17th Annual UFO Day Festival is set for August 27th
The Fyffe UFO Day Festival offers hot air balloon rides, arts and crafts, games and inflatables for children, a 5k run, an antique car and tractor show, an assortment of food vendors and live music. During the one-day event, the only flying objects spotted in the sky are colorful hot-air balloons.
