Lions seek members

Locally, The Scottsboro Lions Club was formed in 1963 and has been very active within the community ever since.
Within Scottsboro, the Lions Club holds fund raisers every year including a hot dog bingo dinner, the selling of mops, brooms and pecans. The proceeds raised in these fund raisers go to help the Scottsboro community.

Locally, the Lions Club performs the following community services: highway trash pick-up, renewing the playground at County Park, and operating an eyeglass center where they sort and wash over 50,000 eyeglasses annually. The Lions also provide numerous eye exams for those in need annually.

If you are interested in serving the Scottsboro community and becoming a part of the world’s largest service organization, the club meets twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.
Dinner is served at 5 p.m. and an hour meeting begins at 6 p.m.
Please contact Lion Patrick Lenhart at 619-823-4692 for additional information.
