Mr. John David Horton, 54 of Scottsboro passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at his home. A private memorial service was held for the family.
Mr. Horton was born Monday, September 13, 1965 in Coffee County, Georgia. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, a great mechanic, and he cherished his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Joann Horton; sons, Joshua Horton, Christopher (Courtney) Stephens; grandchildren, Caden Stephens, Chloe Stephens; mother, Jane Horton; sister, Julie Southerland; brothers, Mark (Karen) Horton, Matthew Horton; nephews, Jerad (Samantha) Horton, Cody (Cassidy) Horton, Garrett Southerland; niece, Lexie Southerland.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Wayne Horton.
