William Mike Burroughs, age 70 Swearengin, Community passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025. Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from the Grant Memorial Chapel. Bro. Nicky Willmon and Bro. Alton Willmon officiated. Interment followed in the New Prospect Cemetery.
Mr. Burroughs is survived by his aunts, cousins, extended family members, a host of friends and his loving church family.
Mr. Burroughs was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie Burroughs and Katherine Dulaney Burroughs; his wife, Brenda Fortner Burroughs; and his grandparents, Joe Burroughs, Naomi Burroughs, John Dulaney and Mary Lou Dulaney.
Mike was born on January 3, 1955 in Guntersville, Alabama, the only child to Ollie & Katherine Dulaney Burroughs. Mike lived in the Swearengin Community all his life, where he was a member of the Oak Grove Holiness Church.
