Vivian Marie Dickerson, age 91 of the Aspel Community, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel.
Dr. Gary Speers officiated. Interment followed in the Aspel Cemetery.
Mrs. Dickerson is survived by her daughters, Brenda Dickerson, Jane Dickerson (Ronny) Whitaker and Nancy Dickerson Smith; grandchildren, Jacob (Devin) Taylor and Kasey Whitaker (Tim) Tipton; step-grandchildren, Kim Whitaker (Wendell) Cochran and Jesse (Trina) Whitaker; and great granddaughter, Leah Taylor.
Mrs. Dickerson was preceded in death by her husband, Hurley Dickerson; infant twin sons; parents, William Floyd Hooper and Florence Hooper; siblings, Billie Hall (W.C.), Doylene ( Paul) Marquard and Floyd Hooper; and her in-laws, Romey Dickerson and Lizzie Dickerson.
