The Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County will hold its annual golf fundraising tournament Friday, October 30, 2026, at Plantation Pointe Golf Course.
The tournament will be played as a four-person scramble, with proceeds benefiting the operation and maintenance of the Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County.
The entry fee is $100 per person and includes range balls, a mulligan package, lunch, complimentary drinks and prizes. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon.
As a special recognition of their service, veterans and active-duty military personnel will receive a free mulligan package.
In addition to team entries, several sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses, organizations and individuals who would like to support the park and its mission. This year, organizers have added a new Title Sponsorship opportunity, which includes entry for two teams.
Registration and sponsorship forms are available at Goose Pond Colony Golf Course and Plantation Pointe Golf Course. Forms may also be obtained online through the Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County website at VMPJC.NET or through the Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County Facebook page.
All money raised through the tournament will help support the continued operation and maintenance of the park, which serves as a lasting tribute to the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
