The community of Jackson County is invited to join a series of Veterans Day observances in Scottsboro, honoring those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
Schedule of Events:
• 9:30 a.m. — Wreath Laying Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County
• Immediately Following — Veterans Breakfast Social at the Post Hall
All veterans, families, and community members are welcome to attend for fellowship and refreshments.
• 10:45 a.m. — Patriotic Music Program at Collins Intermediate School Auditorium
Featuring musical selections honoring America’s veterans and setting the tone for the main program.
• 11:00 a.m. — Veterans Day Ceremony
The keynote address will be delivered by Lieutenant General Heath A. Collins, Director of the Missile Defense Agency, highlighting the enduring legacy of service and the importance of national defense.
These events are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and wear patriotic attire. Veterans and active-duty service members will be recognized throughout the program.
