Sue Harper Gregory, age 81 of Rainsville, passed away on May 2, 2025. Funeral services were held on May 6, 2025 from the Straight Creek Church of God. Pastors Kyle Morrow and Frank Bradford officiated. Interment followed in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Mrs. Gregory is survived by her children, Donna Stephens and Jacob Gregory; two sisters, Sandra (Dale) Jordan and Brenda (Steve) Presley; a special daughter, Cindy Newsome; special grandson, Isaac Newsome; as well as a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her infant son, Roger Gregory, Jr.; husband, Roger Gregory; and parents, Olin Harper and Lydia Harper.

Sue was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met.

Sue retired after 40 years of dedicated service at Kroger, where she met her husband, Roger. She was also a faithful member of Straight Creek Church of God. Her love for her church family was matched only by her joy in spending time with them. She especially cherished traveling to the Smokies with her church sisters, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and fellowship.
She had a playful spirit and loved being the center of attention. Whether it was playing cards, tackling a Sudoku puzzle, or baking her famously delicious M&M cookies; Sue’s warmth, humor, and sass made her unforgettable.

Sue’s legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will forever remain in our hearts.
