Shannon Leann Moore Brown, age 49 of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2025. A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from Pathway Baptist Church. Pastor Joe David Moore officiated.
Leann is survived by her daughters, Heather Brown (Justin) Bailey, Cheyenne Brown; son, Carson Brown; mother, Betty Garner Moore; sister, Juliann Clarke; brother, Joey (Heather) Moore; seven grandchildren, Zaria, Stormy, Lukas, EmmaLeigh, Harper, Octavia Bailey and Leilany Brown; aunts, Dorothy Cornelison, Joyce Garner and Paula Moore; nieces and nephews, Stacie Tabb, Dana Kay, Taylor Moore, Shelby Sullivan, Christian Sullivan, and Lincoln Thrasher; as well as many cousins.
Leann was preceded in death by son; Thomas Dominique Brown; father, Joe Wheeler Moore; brother-in-law, Paul Clarke; nephew, Thomas J Sullivan; as well as many aunts and uncles.
Leann, a wonderful sister, daughter, mother, “Gammi” and friend to so many, fought a long and courageous battle with cancer and will definitely be missed by those that she loved and that loved her.
