Renee Stewart Guthrie, age 64 of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday November 8, 2025. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel. Internment followed in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Guthrie is survived by her husband Dean Guthrie; sons, Cameron Guthrie and Calder Guthrie; brother Charles Bruce “Chuck” Stewart.
Mrs. Guthrie was preceded in death by her parents John W.”Pete” and Helen Stewart.
Renee started her nursing career at Jackson County Hospital in 1982 and retired from Highlands Medical Center in 2019 as an Registered Nurse. She was a member of the Scottsboro High School High School class of 1979 where she was a member of the Marching Band.
