Rena Grace Derrick, age 88 of Scottsboro, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 15, 2026 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Pinehaven Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Derrick is survived by her son, Chris (Sheryl McClure) Derrick; grandchildren, Zackary Alan (Emily) Derrick, Trenton Alexander (Maddie) Derrick; Destiny Renee Metz; great grandson, Ryder Sorenson; sister, Lucy Sargent; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Derrick was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Derrick; daughter, Jackie Gilbert; granddaughter, Julie Roberts; and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Derrick was a beautician in Scottsboro for many years and owned different beauty shops in the area. She loved to play cards and take your money. She and her husband loved to travel to Tunica and Reno.
