Mrs. Nancy Stewart Powell, age 74 of Woodville, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home. Rev. Phillip Stewart and Rev. Danny Stewart officiated. Interment followed in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Powell is survived by her daughters, Beverly Powell and Misty Powell; son, Anthony (Mary) Powell; seven grandchildren, Barry Powell, Shelby (Brock) Griggs, Ashley Powell, Sheridan Powell, Tasha (Casey) Jordan, Chelsey Casey, and Ethan Little; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Maxine (Cecil) Wells, Kathy Burgess, and Carolyn Rousseau; brothers, Danny (Carol) Stewart and Stanley (Kathy) Stewart; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Eugene Powell; siblings, Delores Guess, Teresa Payne, and Hulen Stewart; and parents, Harrison Stewart and Kathleen Stewart.
