The Northeast Alabama Community College softball team continues to climb in the national rankings.

NACC improved to 23-1 after securing a four-game ACCC conference series sweep of Calhoun on Saturday.

The Mustangs debuted in the 2026 NJCAA rankings at No. 3 on March 2 before sliding back one spot to No. 4 in the March 9 rankings.

In the new rankings, released Monday afternoon, Grayson College (Texas) is ranked No. 1 ahead of NACC. Rounding out the NJCAA Division I Softball Rankings Top-5 is No. 3 Northwest Florida State College, No. 4 Florida Southwestern and No. 5 Trinity Valley (Texas) Community College.

NACC returns to action Thursday to face another nationally-ranked team, No. 24 Gadsden State (24-1, 3-1).
