Mazelle Haynes, age 90 of Section, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel.
Keary Chandler, Bro. Larry Haynes and Bro. Ronald Patterson officiated. Interment followed in the Macedonia Cemetery.
Mrs. Haynes is survived by her son, Terry D. Haynes; daughter, Vickie (Rickey) Pope; brothers, Jack Dukes, Willard Dukes and Ernie Dukes; sisters, Audrey Dukes and Effie Wheeler; grandchildren, Nick (Jennifer) Pope, Luke (Ashlee) Pope, Monica (Cody) Goff, Brett (Amy) Haynes, and Tera (Will) Hatcher; great-grandchildren, Dillan Pope, Claire Pope, Tyson Haynes, Kaidence Atkin, Jaycee Pope, Levi Pope, Carleigh Payne, Garrett Payne, Riggins Payne, Scottie Goff, Cypress Hatcher, and Chase Hatcher.
Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. Haynes; brothers, Durham Dukes, A.G. Dukes, Bud Dukes, Bill Dukes, and Raymond Dukes; sister, Pearl Williams; mother, Essie Mae Dukes; and father, Chester Dukes
