Mrs. Mary Lois Lawhorn of Athens and formerly of Scottsboro passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Graveside services were held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Denny) Thornton; son, Jimmy (Keren) Holloway; granddaughter, Taylor (Jamey) Thomas; great-granddaughter, Mae Thomas; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lawhorn; parents, George Thomas and Anna Miller, Sr.
