Marilyn Morris Reed, age 72 of Scottsboro, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. A graveside service and interment were held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Reed is survived by many friends and prior students.
Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Reed; and parents, Homer Morris and Sallie Morris.
She was a member of the Scottsboro First United Methodist Church and retired from the Jackson County School System. She worked for the Scottsboro Public Library where she served on the Board.
