Lila Mae Randles Hardin, age 94 of Grant, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from the Grant Memorial Chapel. Her nephew, Kenneth Randles officiated. Interment followed in the Free Home Cemetery.
Ms. Hardin is survived by her nephew, whom she raised, Rocky Randles; James (Polly) Fuell, Patricia Fuell, Kay Kirkland, Keith (Debbie) Randles and Kathy Donahoo; as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends.
Ms. Hardin was preceded in death by her parents, William Randles and Geanie Randalls; siblings, Idella Citta, Louise Clay, Emmett Randles, Vicie Edmonds, Russell Randles, twin brother Wiley Randles and Robert Randles. Ms. Hardin was the last surviving child of eight.
She was born on June 7, 1931. Lila Mae was a lifelong resident of the Grant area and worked primarily in manufacturing. She retired from Chrysler Corporation. Her remaining years were spent at home with her family, flowers, gardening, sewing, and handcrafts. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
