Lendol Hollis Click, age 89 passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from the Old Center Missionary Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Click Cemetery on Butler Mill Road.

Mr. Click is survived by his wife, Julia Blanton Click; two children, Connie (David) Schnuelle and Gerald Hollis Click; two grandchildren, Bethany Schnuelle (Andrew) Darragh and Steven (Lauren) Schnuelle; two great grandchildren, Harper Darragh and Adelyn Darragh; and a nephew, Jimmy Shane Click.

Mr. Click was preceded in death by his parents, German Harris Click and Lena Whitaker Click; and brother, Jimmy Dale Click.

Mr. Click was born September 19, 1936, in Marshall County, Alabama to German Harris and Lena Whitaker Click.

Mr. Click graduated from Kate Duncan Smith DAR School in 1954. He joined the United States Army in 1959, where he served as a Military Police. Hollis met his wife of 66 years, Julia Blanton Click in 1955 ant they were married on March 24, 1959.

After his Army service, Hollis began his career at Joe Money Machinery Company, where he retired in 2001.

He loved his farm and his prized Polled Hereford cattle. He and Julia enjoyed many travels during his retirement. He was most proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them.

Hollis was a lifelong member of the Grant community and loved this community, its people, and his church-Old Center Missionary Baptist Church in Butler Mill.

Hollis was, above all, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loyal friend to many.
