Lelon Thompson, 96 of Rainsville passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Woody Woodin and Bro. Mike Keeble officiating. Burial followed in Robertson Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Henry (Madeline) Thompson, Don (Lynda) Thompson; daughters, Susan (Ron) Nicholas, Kay (Steve) Theis; grandchildren, Stacy, Alexi (Leidy), Alan (Christin), Kari (Erik), Madison, Casey (Pepper), Kelcie, Tyler, Austin; five great-grandchildren, Isabella, Iyleigh, Jayden, Jack, Kaitlyn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Thompson; parents, Lester and Pearl Thompson; grandson, Erich Nicholas; brothers, Eldridge Thompson, Ralph Thompson, Wayne Thompson; sister, Jane Holt.
