Larry “Tommy” Gowers, Jr., age 50, passed away on December 28, 2025. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Ray Davis and Bro. Corey Walker officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Gowers is survived by his wife, Tonya Gowers; his daughter, Isabella Gowers; his sister, Candace (Keith) Bennett; his brother, Aaron Gower; his stepmother, Gail Gower; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gowers was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Paulette Frazier, and his father, Larry Thomas Gower, Sr.
Tommy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend whose presence brought comfort, love, and joy to those around him. He will be deeply missed.
He was a loving and devoted husband and father, and a source of strength and care for his family. Tommy’s kindness, dedication, and love for his family and friends will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
