Jimmy Russell Long, age 75 of Hollywood, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025. Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Johnny Johnson officiated. Interment followed in the Paint Rock Cemetery.
Mr. Long is survived by his wife, Marsha Long; daughters, Emily (Zechariah) Moss and Celeste George; son, Russell Long; grandchildren, Nathan, Katlyn, Lillian, Ethan, and Samantha; great grandchildren, Avery, Aidan, Lainey, Carson, and Ember; sisters, Celia Whitus and Kathy Austin; several nieces and nephews; and his church family.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe, Jerry, and David Long; and parents, J.W. & Sarah Long.
Mr. Long was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Apostles and Prophets Church Palace of Praise Family Worship Center.
