Jimmy Hugh Myers, age 82 of Section, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel.
Roger Little and Jerry Myers officiated. Interment followed in the Section Bluff Cemetery.
Mr. Myers is survived by his children, Tony (Kathy) Myers, Melissa (Ray) Gray, Becky (Sam) Bass; grandchildren, Matthew (Taylor) Myers, Molly Myers, Drew (Broghan) Bass; great grandchildren, Hadley Myers, Sutton Myers, Ellie Jo Bass; brother, Waymon Myers; sisters, Betty Clemons, Annette Hancock, Joyce Farr; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his wife, Jo M. Myers; parents, Ira Cornelius Myers and Helen Threase Cobbler Myers; and brother, Harold Myers.
