Janie Daniel, age 76 of Scottsboro, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Gary Spears officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Daniel is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, David “Fur Pod” Daniel; brothers, Bruce (Kathy) Swaim of Picayune, Wayne Swaim, Steve (Becky) Swaim, Milton (Susie) Swaim, Byron (Nicole) Swaim, Dennis (Cindy) Clark, David (Debbie) Clark; sisters, Linda (Don) Holmes, Beverly Head, Wendy (Kane) Fowler, Debbie Riddlebaugh and Denise Hazzard,
Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Tara Fay Daniel; parents, Howard Milton Swaim and Gloria June Clark; sisters, Sheila Johnson, Mary Dolberry and Pattie Sue Swaim; and brother, Danny Clark.
