Irma Jean Flanagen, age 90 of Garth, passed away on September 10, 2025. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Rick Fowler officiated. Interment followed in the Paint Rock Cemetery.
Mrs. Irma Jean is survived by her daughters, Carol (James) Luladakis , Debbie Maynor Wright, Ray Maynor; grandchildren, Shad (Cheree) Hastings, Trey (Sierra) Hastings, Jonathan Hastings , Jackson Hastings , Kozic Hastings. Colby Maynor, Makenzie Maynor, BreAnna Maynor and Justin Maynor; nieces, Ann (James) Harmening and Sheila (James David) Hodges; with many other special nieces and nephews; and her loving pets, Luly and Boo, which meant the world to her and will miss her dearly.
Mrs. Irma Jean was proceeded in death by her parents, Hess Wilbourn and Lillie Wilbourn; her husband J.C. Flanagan; her grandson, Colby Maynor; and siblings, Gib, Harve, Ellis, Lora and Delera.
For those who knew and loved her, will remember her perseverance, her love for her family, her unfailing faith and her spirited temperament. She was a member of Garth Union Baptist Church.
