Irma Brandon Brittain, just shy of 95 years old, passed away on October 25, 2025. Graveside services and interment were held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from the Liberty Cemetery. Winfred Russell officiated.
Mrs. Brittain is survived by her children Nanette, Tim, Charlotte, and Angi; grandchildren, Brandy, Amber, Claire, and Scottie; and great grandchildren Julia, Devon, and Trey. Mrs. Brittain was preceded in death by her husband George and son Scott.
Born in Scottsboro, Alabama, the 7th of 8 children to William and Annie Brandon. Irma attended David Lipscomb College in Nashville where she met her future husband of more than 50 years. She worked in the professional world transferring to General Electric in Tampa from Alabama in the late 50’s.
Irma was such a kind person who devoted her life to helping raise her family. Irma was fond of retirement which allowed her to spend time with her grand and great grandchildren. This was her lasting legacy as family was everything to her.
