Iris J. Evans, age 84 of Scottsboro, passed away recently. Funeral services were held on August 31, 2025 from the Skyline Holiness Church. Interment followed in the Skyline Cemetery.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her son, Danny (MaryAnn) Evans; daughter: Donna Evans; grandchildren, Danielle Evans, Ashley (Floyd) Miles; great grandchildren, Jackson Evans, Madison Brown, Sienna Case, Ava Garner, Bentlee Gilliam; great great grandchildren, Remmi Nelson, Rowan Bullock; brothers, Ollie O’Linger, Jr. ; sister-in-law, Shirley O’linger; best friend: Angie Gillispie; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her husband Ray Evans; parents, Ollie O’linger and Ola O’linger; and brothers Donald (Glenda) O’linger and Jerry O’linger.
