Flora Kindred Kirby, age 85 of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025. A graveside service celebrating Flora’s life was held from the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Mrs. Kirby is survived by her daughter, Lesa Hall; her step-daughter, Lavonne Kirby Holland; and her stepson, Perry Kirby; her sister, Gladys Sparkman; step-grandson, Lance Marter; sister-in-law, Billie Kirby; grandchildren, Deanna Phillips and Joshua Anderson; several cherished step-grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.
Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lucy Mitchell Kindred; husband, Kenneth Kirby; step-daughter, Kathy Kirby Marter; and brothers, James Kindred and John Kindred.
Flora was a woman of quiet strength, kindness, and grace. She devoted her life to her family and will be missed by her family and who knew her. She was an avid Alabama football fan.
