Evelyn Irene Gross Smith, age 96 of Scottsboro, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025. Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home. Rev. Donna King officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her grandchildren, Cody Smith and Jordan (Chris) Clardy; great grandchildren, Zoe Clardy, Cheyenne Clardy, Lane Smith, Jase Smith, and Della Smith; sisters, Jean Hale and Nina Brandon; brothers, Robert Gross; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Lois Roberts; and close friends, Glenda, Sandra, Landy.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Don Smith; son, Ronald Wayne Smith; daughter, Donna Singler; along with her parents and siblings.
