Highlands Medical Center recently recognized an extraordinary milestone as Eva J. Hall celebrated 60 years of dedicated service, marking a rare and remarkable achievement in healthcare and information technology.
Hall began her career on December 1, 1965, as a clerk in the Administration Department, laying the foundation for a lifetime of service marked by professionalism, adaptability and unwavering commitment.
Just over a year later, in February 1967, she advanced into the role of Bookkeeper for Administration, a position she faithfully held until June 1977.
Her career continued to grow when she was appointed Director of Data Processing on June 20, 1977, a role she would serve in for more than 21 years, guiding Highlands Medical Center through critical technological advances in an era when hospital systems were rapidly evolving.
In January 1999, Hall transitioned into her current role as Senior System Analyst, where she continues to serve today.
Throughout her six decades at Highlands Medical Center, Hall has been instrumental in numerous vital IT and operational projects. One of her most significant contributions included assisting with the transition of payroll systems from AS400 to Meditech, a large-scale conversion that modernized hospital operations.
She also played a key role in improving internal workflow processes, enhancing efficiency across multiple departments.
Known for her willingness to assist wherever needed, Hall has supported countless departments over the years with a steady presence and a servant’s heart. Colleagues frequently describe her as dependable, knowledgeable and always ready to help solve even the most complex challenges.
