Eloise Reese Payne, age 82 of Pisgah, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026. Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 19, 2026 from the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. David Moses officiated. Interment followed in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
Mrs. Payne is survived by her husband, Lowell Franklin “Shorty” Payne; sons, Anthony Payne, Christopher Payne; daughters, Donna (Gary) Chambers, Connie (Roger) Wilkerson; brother, Odis Wayne Wells; sister, Arlene Wooten; fourteen grandchildren; and thirty one great grandchildren; thirteen great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Payne was preceded in death by her parents, Tilmon and Lillian Reese; son, Scottie Payne; granddaughters, Tammy Payne and April Payne; grandson, Tony Centers; and brother, Kenneth Reese.
