Dutton Woman Convicted of Methamphetamine Trafficking

SCOTTSBORO, AL – Jackson County District Attorney’s Office announced that on Monday, February 9, 2026, Amy Allen, of Dutton, was convicted on charges of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The prosecution was led by Assistant District Attorney Krystina Jackson and Assistant District Attorney Laci Ryan. Following the conviction, Judge Benson scheduled the sentencing hearing for March 24, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.

Assistant District Attorney Jackson noted, “This conviction sends a clear and unwavering message to those who choose to profit from the destruction of our community. Drug traffickers do not just sell substances; they sell misery, fuel secondary crimes, and tear apart families across Jackson County.
