Dan “ Danny” Robert Vaughn, Jr., age 77 of Bridgeport, passed away June 16, 2025. Funeral services were held on Friday, June 20, 2025 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Interment followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Josh Meyers and John Frasier officiating.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Long Vaughn; daughter, Amanda Vaughn; grandchildren, Brendan Massey, Alex Massey and Jayden Massey; brothers, Leonard (Susan) Vaughn and Chris (Christina) Vaughn; several nieces and nephews; special friends to the family, Maury Connor, Eric Lemanski, Kenzie Lemanski; as well as all veterans and nurses.
Mr. Vaughn was preceded by his parents, Dan Robert Sr. and Billie Louise Vaughn; brothers, Vernon Vaughn and Eddie Vaughn.
Danny was a US Army Veteran serving from 1968-1970 and served in Vietnam then Ft. Dix, New Jersey where he trained new recruits. He retired from TVA Widows Creek Steam Plant.
