Brenda Young Potter, age 75 of Scottsboro, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 22, 2026 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Potter is survived by her husband, Jimmy Potter; daughters, Jennifer (Ricky) Talley and Sherry (Larry) Brake; honorary daughter, Tabitha (Chad) Miller; grandchildren, Jonathan (Kendall) White, Joshua White, and Brooke Utech; great grandchildren, Brylee Miller, Emma Moore, Anna Moore, Rowan White, Bentley Utech, Blaze Utech, and Kain Winkles; sister, Maureen Clark; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Potter was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Utech; parents, John Young and Betty Young; and four brothers.
Brenda will forever be remembered for her sweet spirit and spunky personality.
