Brenda Clark Maples

Brenda Clark Maples, age 75 of Woodville, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025. There will be no public services, the family will conduct a private memorial service at a later date.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, RL Maples of Woodville; daughters, Jean (Travis) Harding of Grant, Lea (Robert) Phillips of New Hope, and Rebecca Maples (John John) of Scottsboro, 13 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Benton Farley Clark and Effie Mae Malone Clark; brothers Charles McGlocklin, Redus Parker, and Alton Clark; sisters Gladys Martin, Nell Martin and Bobbie Jean Vann; and daughter Angelia Maples.
Brenda was born on July 24, 1950 in Madison County, AL to Farley and Effie Mae Clark. She married RL Maples at the age of 14, and was a homemaker who raised their four girls to adulthood. She loved crafting, and singing with her family, and buck dancing.
