Billie Gail Kitchens, age 73, passed away recently. Though her passing leaves an ache that words cannot heal, her memory will remain a guiding light for those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Mrs. Kitchens is survived by her children, Charis (Matt) Stephens, Farrah (Brett) Smith, Brittany (late husband Clark Roberts), and Kenzie (Ryan) Wright; grandchildren, Brianna Ledford, Dan Ledford, Wylder Smith, Spencer Smith, Bentley Allen, Keyton Allen, Rue Roberts, Carter Wright, Erin, Derek Smith, and Kinley Parker; great grandchildren, Aubrey Ledford, Emery Smith and Ezra Smith; sister, Melody (Matthew) Kendall, and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kitchens was proceeded in death by her parents Rev. Billy Kitchens and Betty Kitchens, and Brother Dennis Kitchens.
Her girls were her world, and she loved them fiercely through every season of life.
She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and will forever feel her absence.
She was a devoted mother, a source of strength, and the heart of her family.
Billie, had worked at Jackson County hospital in earlier years and wrote articles for The Daily Sentinel that many enjoyed reading every month.
She enjoyed playing the violin as a child and was an avid piano player.
To know Billie was to know love, resilience, and unwavering devotion.
She had a way of showing up, whether through words, actions, or simply being there when it mattered most.
Her love will continue to live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.
