On September 6, the Scottsboro Three Arts Club will host its 53rd Annual Art Sunday in King Caldwell Park in Scottsboro from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Each year, the annual event attracts thousands of community members and out-of-state visitors eager to shop and socialize.
Admission to Art Sunday is $3 per adult and $2 per school-aged child. Children 5 and under, veterans with a military ID, and anyone wearing a 2026 Art Sunday t-shirt will receive free admission.
Art Sunday admission is cash-only. An ATM will be on site.
This year’s event will feature vendors who specialize in art, craftsmanship, hobbies and more. From elaborate oil paintings and sketches to crocheted shawls and cutting boards, Art Sunday offers a wide variety of items to purchase.
Live music and performances by local community members will provide entertainment to those in attendance.
Face-painting, crafts and other activities will be available for children to enjoy as well.
Art Sunday attendees will also be able to purchase a wide-variety of food and drink options from vendors.
There will also be a photography contest for both kids and adults. Submissions for the photography contest cost $5 per entry and can be submitted to the Scottsboro or Jackson County Boards of Education by September 3.
Submissions may also be turned in at Art Sunday at the Will Maples Girl Scout Cabin between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Anyone who submits a photo for the contest will receive free entry to Art Sunday.

Proceeds from Art Sunday go toward many local programs and organizations, including violin lessons for local third graders, student field trips to plays, ballets and symphonies, a scholarship for a local senior, the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, the IMPACT Learning Center, the Scottsboro Public Library and Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County.
