Betty Ruth McAllister, age 89 of Scottsboro passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Barry Birdsong and Bro. Charles Cornelison officiated.
Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery
Mrs. McAllister is survived by her sister, Annette Birdsong; grandchildren, Jennifer Gregory and Anthony McAllister; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McAllister was preceded in death by her husband, James Winston McAllister; son, Jimmy Dale McAllister; parents, Horace Williams and Vicie Williams; and siblings, Erskine Williams, Wayne Williams, and Elizabeth Turner.
