Reba Snow Mayhall passed away recently. A service celebrating her life was held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from the Grant Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Mayhall is survived by her children, Cindy Myers, Zandra (Eric) Graham (Eric), Timothy (Cathy) Mayhall, Tammy (Ali) Mayhall and Brad (Tanya) Mayhall; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild-all of whom she loved dearly.
Mrs. Mayhall was preceded in death by her husband, James Travis Mayhall; parents, James R. & Susie Snow; daughter, Susan Gail Mayhall; sisters, Betty Gail Stapler and Doris King; and great granddaughter, Xelana Mystique Ellison.
Reba Snow was born on September 19, 1940.
She married the love of her life, James Travis Mayhall, and together they built a home centered on faith, love, hard work, and family.
Throughout their years together they created a lifetime of cherished memories.
Reba began her career as an Executive Administrator at Redstone Arsenal before becoming manager at San Ann, where she faithfully served for more than twenty years.
She was respected for her kindness, dedication, and strong work ethic.
She often worked holidays so others could spend time with their families, always putting others before herself.
Reba found great joy in gardening, faithfully growing food to provide for her family.
She delighted in sharing fresh vegetables and home-canned goods with family, friends, and neighbors.
Gardening was one of the many ways she expressed her love for others.
Above all, Reba loved Jesus Christ.
She faithfully attended church and found great joy in singing the old church hymns.
Those timeless songs reflected the hope she carried in her heart and the steadfast trust she placed in her Savior.
Reba’s greatest pride and joy was her family.
She was a devoted wife to Travis, and a loving mother to Cindy, Zandra, Timothy, Tammy, and Brad.
She also loving raised her grandson, Jeremy, as one of her own.
She willingly sacrificed her wants so those she loved would never go without.
Family gatherings were among Reba’s greatest treasures.
Her home was always filled with laughter, good food, and open arms.
She had a remarkable gift for making every feel welcome, accepted, and loved.
Reba leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith, unconditional love, selfless generosity, quiet strength, and a servant’s heart.
