Ruth Marie Holder, age 89 of Bridgeport, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from the Rudder Funeral Hpme Chapel. Brother John Frazier officiated. Interment followed in the Saint Bonaventure Cemetery.
Mrs. Holder is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Howard) Stahl; and grandson, Mason Moore.
Mrs. Holder was preceded in death by her son, Rickey Holder; former husband, C.W. Holder; parents, John Alfred Hamilton and Rosley O’dell Maritn Hamilton; and siblings, Winford Hamilton, Rudell Hamilton, John Jr. Hamilton, Ross Hamilton and Shirley Clayton.
Mrs. Holder was a member of Mt. Caramel Baptist Church.
