Olita Dabbs Wooten age 80, passed away on May 13th. 2026. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 15, 2026 from the Grant Memorial Chapel.
Bro. Curtis McAllister and Rev. Rick Beck officiated. Interment followed in the Free Home Cemetery.
Mrs. Wooten is survived by her daughter, Kim Wooten Beck (Ricky); granddaughter, Hannah Beck Hackney (Kevin); and sister Juliette “Tootsie” Baker (Gene).
Mrs. Wooten was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wooten; her parents, Arbie and Alma Dabbs; and her three brothers and six sisters.
Olita was a simple woman that loved being outside mowing, planting flowers, and working in her garden.
She was a very hard-working woman.
She retired as a supervisor at Grant Manufacturing which was a sewing plant that Grant used to have.
Olita Loved Music and loved going to her husband Joe Wooten play the guitar. She loved spending time with her siblings and visiting family.
