James Hubert Davis, age 79 of Scottsboro passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2026. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. David Morman officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Brenda Davis; his children, Warren (Rita) Davis, Deborah (Robert) Sebring; grandchildren, Bob Sebring, and Clint (Taylor) Sebring; two great grandchildren, Jude Sebring, Emilia Sebring, Wayne Davis, Selmond (Teresa) Davis, Roger (Kim Martin) Davis; sisters Winnie Reed, Jo Peek, Brenda (Hoyt) West, Gail Marrs; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Lake Davis and Virginia Davis; and his brothers, Carol Davis, Buddy Davis and Walter Davis.
James lived in Lebanon, Tennessee before moving to Scottsboro to work at the Revere Copper and Brass Plant where he retired as General foreman.
He was also a wood worker making furniture like the crib for his great grandchildren and a host of other things.
