Peggy Joyce Beard, age 82 of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday May 6, 2026. A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Dr. Matt Helms officiated.
Mrs. Beard is survived by her sons Scott (Reagan) Beard and Zane (Amber) Beard; grandchildren, Lane Beard, Cylee Beard, Devin Beard and Lily Beard; sisters, Mary Nell Bell, Bobby Manning, Linda Peacock, Kathy (Royce) Ogle.
Mrs. Beard was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hodges Beard.
