Lisa Ann “Lou” Russell, age 52, of Bridgeport, passed away on April 22, 2026 . A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Preston Cemetery.
Mrs. Russell is survived by her mother, Phyllis Guthrie; sisters, Melanie Carano and Samantha Russell; niece, Ashley (TR) Grissom; nephews, Brett (Jordan) Smith and Caleb Daniel; as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her father, George “Buck” Russell; grandparents, Colon Guthrie, Bertha Guthrie, Carl Canoy and Noble Canoy.
