Michael Triplett, age 72 of Scottsboro passed away Monday, February 2, 2026. No formal funeral services will be held.
Mr. Triplett is survived by his son, Robert Mills; daughter, Katherine Gray; son-in-law, Cory Scheurich; grandchildren, Allison Gray, Alivia Gray, Austin Gray, Tylor Will, Courtney (Daniel) Justice and Cody (Tara) Scheurich ; great grandchildren, Maddie Justice and Jackson Justice; sisters, Erma (Bob) Caudill and Kathy Triplett; sister-in-law, Mattie Triplett; and nieces and nephews; Kate Caudill, Kyle Caudill, John (Jennifer) Miller, Mike (Gloria) Triplett, Matthew (Jessica) Triplett and Andy (Gabby Johnson) Triplett.
Mr. Triplett was preceded in death by his parents, Audrey Triplett and Elva Triplett; brother, Terry Triplett; daughter, Rachael Scheurich; wife, Cindy Triplett; and niece, Melissa Triplett
Originally from Kentucky, Michael spent many years working as a superintendent for Dalton Foundry, as well as a taxidermist.
