Linda R. Stewart, age 76 of Scottsboro, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026. Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Phillip Stewart officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by her husband, Gene Stewart; her children, Patrick Stewart, Phillip (Emily) Stewart, and Heather (Tim) Calfee; her grandchildren, Allison French, Thomas French, William (Sarah Grace) Stewart, Connor (Kelli) Calfee, Clinton (Shelby) Stewart, Luke Calfee, John David Stewart, and Vanessa Stewart; great grandchildren, Charlie French and Baby Calfee on the way; brother, Steve (Rita) Cochran; sisters, Debbie (Jimmy) Ballinger, Jennifer (Kent) Glasscock, and Christy (Andy) Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Cochran and Peggy Cochran; and sister, Patty Cochran.
Linda loved the Lord. She was a dedicated and faithful member of Landmark Baptist Church. She was also a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
