James Grover Kirkland, Jr., age 81 of Grant, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from the Grant Memorial Chapel. Bro. Ralph Hall officiated. Interment followed in the Panquin Cemetery.
Mr. Kirkland is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra Kirkland; son, Jeff (Teresa) Kirkland; daughter, Shelly Kirkland; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Jo Kirkland.
Mr. Kirkland was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Kirkland and Bertie Lou Kirkland; and sisters, Mary Lou Kirkland Schrimsher and Carolyn Sue Kirkland.
