Marion Virginia Cormier, age 77 of Scottsboro, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from the Shiloh Baptist Church in Scottsboro. Bro. Kenneth Wells officiated.
Mrs. Cormier is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Cormier; son, Kevin Scott (Teresa) Cormier; daughter, Cynthia (Tim) Taylor; grandchildren, Kevin (Leisha) Cormier, Kasey Cormier, Jake (Dusti) Geckles, and Luke Geckles; great grandchild, River Baine Cormier; brother, Samuel Kent “Kenny” (Rita) Williams; sister, Barbara (Shorty) Bevel; cousin, Jean Ledbetter; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cormier was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Klaus Williams and Hazel & John Clair; brother, Robert Anthony Williams; granddaughter-in-law, Sarah Cormier; and her grandparents.
