Janet Louise King, age 71, of Grant, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from the Grant Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Friends are invited to celebrate Janet’s life at Grant Memorial Chapel on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
Mrs. King is survived by her mother, Muriel Andrews; brother, Darryl Andrews; sister, Jennie Andrews Grimm; daughter, Wendy Cunningham; grandchildren: Jesse Cunningham, Tiffany Jones, Dylan Cunningham, and Halie Cunningham; and t great grandchildren, Bentlee Cunningham, Naxton Cunningham, and Emery Cunningham.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Roger King, and her father, Howard Andrews.
Born on December 29, 1953, in Niagara Falls, New York, Janet was the devoted daughter of Muriel Andrews and the late Howard Andrews, and the loving sister to Darryl Andrews and Jennie Andrews Grimm.
After a dedicated career, Janet retired from the Chrysler Corporation. In retirement, she pursued her love for camping alongside her beloved husband, Roger King, who preceded her in death in 2013. Their shared journeys brought them countless joys and forged lasting friendships.
Janet and Roger found not just fellow travelers at campgrounds, but a chosen family with whom they shared laughter, stories, and unforgettable experiences.
Janet was a beacon of love and support to her family. While she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
