Willodene Horton Kilgore

Willodene Horton Kilgore, age 87 of Bridgeport, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Pastor Ronnie Coffelt officiated. A eulogy was given by Bettye Bunch.
Mrs. Kilgore is survived by her children, Cheryl (Jimmy) Bice, Clyde (Judy) Kilgore, Kenny Kilgore, Connie (Justin) Huckabee; grandchildren, Shelley Matthews, Shane Kilgore, Kat Brizendine, Erica Kilgore, Danielle King, Natalie Evett, Clyde Kilgore; great-grandchildren, Beau Matthews, Blake Matthews, Lennon Kilgore, Macie Lawson, Josey Lawson, Henry Evett, Sawyer Kilgore, Brantley King, Preston King, Bo Brizendine, Bailey Brizendine and Luke Brizendine; sister, Bettye Bunch; brother, Max Horton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kilgore was preceded in death by: husband, Willie Bob Kilgore; parents, William Wesley and Phoebe Helen Byars Horton; grandson, Steven Lawson; Siblings, Al Horton, Frances Goodman and Ruth Cooper.
