Gauge Darrell Lynn Palomo, age 16 of Scottsboro, tragically took his life on August 26, 2025, leaving grief and confusion. A celebration of life service was held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel.
Gauge is survived by his parents Jamie Palomo and Patricia Palomo; mother, Regina Palomo; grandma, Doreen Walsh; brother, Richard Palomo; sister, Kela Palomo; his Uncle Matt McGowen and Aunt Katie McGowan along with their children, Vanessa McGowan, Abby McGowan and Annie McGowen; his Aunt Shawna Palomo; his Uncle Steven Walsh ; as well as many other uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Gauge was preceded in death by his Grandpa Phillip Palomo Sr. ; and his Uncle Phillip Palomo Jr.
Gauge was an outstanding young man with a plan for his future and so much love for his family, friends and all who had the pleasure to meet him. Gauge will be extremely missed forever, but always with us in our hearts.
